Immerse yourself in the eerie world of Germany's master of psychological thrillers in the official book trailer for "The Calendar Girl". In the trailer produced by brot & salz, you can expect dark shadows, twitching light and thick clouds of fog, which meet gripping 360° camera shots and unfold the ice-cold story of the book's main character in full dynamic.
Cover Reveal - world premiere
Particularly impressive: the official book cover with a unique special effect, which is revealed in a fascinating way in the Cover Reveal produced by brot & salz. If you wipe over the icy window on the cover, the secret behind the cover is revealed before it freezes over again!
OOH
brot & salz ensured a consistent design across all channels and outlets. The combined campaign visual of the Out of Home campaign visually linked the promotion of the book release with the subsequent "Biggest Thriller Tour in the World". This involved 15 tour dates in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the arena tour was completely sold out.
The main character in Fitzek's new thriller places a candle in her window and unintentionally attracts a killer. For the #fitzek Window Challenge, fans were able to lure their favorite author with eye-catching window decorations. The community then chose the winning window and Sebastian Fitzek presented the prize: a Christmas shopping trip to New York City.
Freeze effect on the landing page
On the landing page fitzek-kalendermaedchen.de, dark storytelling begins behind window glass. The boundaries between digital content behind the screen and the real world in which users find themselves in front of the screen are broken down. In the campaign, our perspective jumps between life and death. Sometimes we are the voyeur looking into the calendar girl's window from outside, then we are the girl looking out of the window into the dark forest. The fans' screen serves as a spatial separation between the two worlds and freezes over and over again in a freeze animation, but can be playfully wiped free using the mouse pointer.
